Before you even think that I am sympathizing with the terrorists of the world, one must ask who instills more terror in the heart and mind of most people with their proclamations? For me it was never Zarqawi or even Bin Laden. Their tapes are comical at best and neither would have been able to do their dirty deeds without the complicity of some in our government. I don’t know who in our government, but I know the type.

Those with the most to gain are certainly those invested in the oil and defense industries but who also gets a thrill out of dominating. They are ushering in the Project for a New American Century. Better minds than I have pointed this out a number of times. I’ll just link a very interesting and compelling piece written by someone at sign of the times.

The truth is the video released by the DOD tells us nothing new about what happened on 911 nor does it refute anything by the dreaded conspiracy theorists.

Discussions and debates about the government’s release of the video from the attack on pentagon are ongoing. What is apparent is that the image above is what any reasonable person would have expected. The state of our nation however, is such that many accept easy explanations from our government no matter how ludicrous. It’s slow camera speed…it’s this or that.

We have to be convinced by the talking heads because a plane hitting the pentagon cannot be discerned from the video released. They, and I mean the powers that be and the tail wagging press, believe we are all stupid. We are not even respected enough as American citizens for them to doctor it. Anyone else would release something like what is shown above. It can be easily created with a decent computer. Instead, we are to accept the myth of what occurred that day. Our nation is as false as the doctored video above. In the words of our last semi-decent leader John F. Kennedy:

“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie — deliberate, contrived and dishonest — but the myth — persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.”

“Some conspiracy theorists have maintained the aircraft was shot down in flight, and that the Pentagon was struck by a missile.”

from a member of judicial watch, the group that fought for the government to release the “new footage”:

“Finally, we hope that this video will put to rest the conspiracy theories involving American Airlines Flight 77.”

Maybe the conspiracy theorists know something CNN knows but isn’t telling.

I have taken time off from blogging to focus on some research but I couldn’t help commenting on this one. This is an absolute joke. “New” footage from different angles indeed and this coming from that bastion of objectivity at FOX news.

They even manage to slip in a dig at conspiracy theorists while announcing the footage. If what has transpired these last five years does not involve some conspiracy within our government, then we really are deep in the doo doo. It means anyone within or without can commit major terrorist acts in these United States and those who ask the questions about it are labled a conspiracy theorists. All the while our nation’s response to ‘terra’ will be to bomb militarily weaker nations into the stone age, jailing, killing and torturing innocents. Maybe they’ll get a terrorist or two (yeah right?) but mostly innocents. The label of conspiracy theorist is also a nice way to killing any attempt to get at the truth. Such is the state of our nation but my fellow Americans know this already. Bush’s approval rating is in the toilet and chickens eventually come home to roost. It’s just a matter of how soon and how many of us must suffer for it.

The image above is the cover of the book Agents of Repression by Ward Churchill and Jim Vander Wall. It is great for getting some history of COINTELPRO but to see how COINTELPRO is used today, which the authors admit would require a whole other book, you may want to read the accounts of Laura Knight Jadczyk. It’s not just used against minority or counter cultural political groups. Why would power hungry psychopaths limit it to such groups anyway? It was afterall successful, and now they have both big and small fish to fry. Ms Jadczyk is now one of the many fishes in their sight.

A while back, based on her work, I detailed how COINTELPRO agents work. The chief activities of such agents is to limit anyone with a following that shows the true state of the nation and the world. As Agents of Repression and Ms Jadczyk’s blog will show you, they spread disinformation, infiltrate legitimate groups, harass and sic their big guns on workers for truth.

This woman must have angered someone in both high and low places because they got some really big guns to shut down her website yesterday. These were lawyers from McLean, Virginia acting on behalf of a group whose activities were detailed on the anatomy of a cointelpro shakedown.

Ms. Jadczyk has documented her experiences and findings beyond what I wrote a while back.
The following links lays it all out. By the last link, she had decided to lay off the ATS business and I thought they had gotten to her. I thought they scared her into not revealing what she was learning about Above Top Secret (ATS). I still followed her various writings because ATS isn’t the world. They’re just one of many on our planet who knowingly or unknowingly become agents of repression. I was happy however, see that they did not manage to scare her off and her website is back up. They are certainly trying hard to neutralize her.
It is a real lesson on the ways in which COINTELPRO has our nation in the state that it is in now.

In case you didn’t click the link, it’s another instance if American soldiers killing innocent victims in order to “liberate” or bring democracy to them. I know many hawks will say that all wars have collateral damage. War is ugly….etc. I believe there is always another way to solve problems. I do know (and it is not just a belief here) that this war in particular is totally unnecessary and unjustified. How can we bring democracy to another nation when we don’t have it at home? There are others of differing opinion regarding this issue, but the hypocrisy of this administration and that of my brain dead fellow citizens is unbelievable.

Chickens eventually come home to roost. What are we going to do then?

The state of our nation is that we are the equivalent, if not worse than the Nazis. Worse because we have the cunning of history to teach us what went before and the present to tell us that it is here again.

Despite the mainstream media’s information blackout, there are so many violations out there that it can’t be completely covered up. Thus, the mainstream news will occasionally reveal the truth though in a very slanted manner. We have this state of affairs chiefly because my fellow Americans tolerate it. In fact, for so long we have benefited from this nazification of America that we are now reaping the karmic consequences in multiple ways. Ironically it is through the hands of our government that we incur this karma as well as pay the price.

How does a nation with so much promise in its founding ideals become nazified? Maybe because it was founded on the principle that basic human rights applied to only a select few. The descendants of these few are running the show now. Thus, some researchers will say America has always been this way; some say it is the way it is because of the work of the pathocrats. I slighty agree with the former and absolutely agree with the latter. The point is, if we are ruled by a few people who believe the world exists for their evil pleasures, then we ought to study this process like a science so that we truly understand what we are up against. Those who have studied this process call it political ponerology. I think it is of utmost importance if we want to survive what we are facing.

The problem is many Americans cannot or refuse to see this evil. This sounds contradictory to what I said above about the activities being blatant, however, denial is a powerful force. Most Americans know something is wrong but to hint at what it is makes people either crazy or immobilized. Fear of losing what little they have does this to people. Sadly, the little we have is based on illusions and the death of countless others. I can’t say enough that at some point we must pay for these sins and the time is now. In the meantime there are plenty of active supporters of the illusion.

Those who are inactive must wake up and look at reality. When schoolteachers are put on administrative leave for speaking the truth of the matter in class, you know we are up #$%^ creek. When this is happening in ‘democratic’ America then I guess too that war is peace. Even the things we least suspect are controlled. It is through our silence and inaction that we give SUPPORT to these things.

Take my boss for instance; he’s into theatre and someone recommended a play for him to see. He won’t be seeing it because of the political climate. It will not be opened in the US anytime soon if at all. From this situation he learned that the issue in Israel is really the genocide of the Palestinians. Worse, his, our tax dollars pays for it. This isn’t all he knows. He also knows about the increasing problem of hunger and homelessness here in ‘wealthy’ USA and he complains about the state government’s systematic reduction of worker benefits. The state government issues our paychecks, by the way. After all his complaints you would think he would be first in line when talks of a strike, protest or a one-day boycott comes up. But nooo. He says

“I can’t afford to lose my job” or “I have to work and I need such and such..”

I’m not talking about a flag waving, ‘my country right or wrong’ type here. This is a so-called progressive and educated person. Hell, as things are dismantled bit by bit there won’t be a job to lose. Such is the force of ponerology that we fight when there is nothing to fight for and don’t fight when there is something to fight for.
Kurt Tucholsky says:

“A country is not only what it does—it is also what it puts up with, what it tolerates.”

One day there will be absolutely nothing to lose and that will be when the house of cards come crashing down? Will that be the only thing as a nation that we don’t tolerate?

We can clearly see evidence of capitalism’s decay in America while we are told it is doing just fine. As this continues, the common man pays the price for the power elite’s hold on money and power. We pay with declining wages, job loss, poor health and education and more recently erosion of our basic constitutional rights.

It used to be that pathocrats were happy with a profit and would throw us the crumbs. It kept us happy too while oblivious to their true intentions. Occasionally they would go too far and we would make a stink about it. Then the constitution would buffer us somewhat. But we ain’t in Kansas no more. Even the crumbs are worthwhile as decline marches on due to years of waste, destruction of our resources and plain ole psychological warfare. They want it all including the crumbs and the constitution is in the way. When the lies and psyops are exposed, tools are at the ready for dealing with it. We get legalistic paramoralisms and we get more war on terror. First though there has to be more terror. From the bunch in the white house you can expect that.

We need only to take the words of the fascist Hermann Georing to get an idea of what our current leaders learned from nazi failures. Alito’s soon to be confirmation for a spot on the supreme court bench is the latest response to the failure of capitalism which we know is called fascism. It’s pathocracy at it’s finest and goes to the heart of what Georing was talking about when he spoke of war and the common people.

Why of course the people don’t want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don’t want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

Our current fascists have learned much since the days of nazi Germany and they have better weapons this time. The “commitment” vote taken for Alito’s confirmation yesterday points to this. Unless a miracle occurs the lawyer for the America’s gestapo is gonna be confirmed. Then unitary executive powers that have been secretly in effect since 9/11 will be public and legal.

Of all the things Herr Bush and gang as done in the name of fighting terroism (create a problem and pretend to be saviors in offering the solution) this is the most deadly if allowed to go unchecked. Up until now theoretically at least congress could put a check on the executive brance. With Alito on the bench we have what in the words of Mike
Whitney

” Alito is the final piece in the neocon puzzle; the cornerstone for an American police-state. If he is approved by the Senate, Bush will have his Federalist “rubber-stamp” on the high court and the Congress will be rendered powerless. No law will be able to check or balance the “unitary” authority of the executive.”

Your soul will no longer be yours it will belong to the brown shirts, neo-cons or whatever name you want to attach to them. It really is what the folks at signs have been warning us about for a while now.
