“America does not let its needy citizens fend for themselves” ——FDR

Today in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina one can see how wrong he was. Increasingly America today is made up of many needy. If our current government continues, all but the inner circle of neo-cons and their friends the corporate heads will be needy.

It is a case if what Jefferson wrote to Dickinson:
“Our fellow citizens have been led hoodwinked from their principles by a most extraordinary combination of circumstances. But the band is removed, and they now see for themselves.” –Thomas Jefferson to John Dickinson, 1801. ME 10:217

Many are writing about the two Americas. What everyone fails to realize is that the second America, the one belonging to the most marginal half of the nation is the America our leaders envision for us all. Of course they exclude themselves. You will hear many stories of how the poor especially blacks were abandoned during this disaster. They are not tall tales. Sure enough the situation proves what black radicals have been saying all along, see: what Kanye West had to say about Bush. He is right but he is missing some of the facts. For one Bush doesn’t care about anyone who cannot further his agenda. For white Americans who think they are slightly better off because they are white I think a serious reconsideration of what our government has done lately is due, Note: Bush and friends immediate response to September 11th, the Iraq war, our economy, and on a simple matter of a mother losing a child, Cindy Sheehan.

When you read of the reports coming out of New Orleans one can’t help but think that this was intended. Not the natural disaster itself but the man made one that transpired afterwards. It is what our government on its way to dictatorship wants. What is a normal person white or black, stranded in inhumane conditions all the while being promised for days that “help is on the way” to do when none is forthcoming? How is one to react when one sees and hears of volunteers being turned away by one’s leaders while you watch those around you die? What is the emotional response when one’s leaders knew long before this what could happen in the event of such a disaster yet cut the necessary funds for preparing for such a disaster? What to do indeed? “Looters” were seen distributing their stolen goods to the weakest victims of the disaster, the old, sick and children. “Looters” were stealing non-essential valuables to sell so they could finance a way out of the chaos after buses were not available for evacuating. They are criminal thugs according to some in the media. While I don’t condone violence or theft, common sense and basic ethics dictate that they are not the real thugs here. It is not just black and white and I hope many can see this even if the pictures painted makes it so. They want us commoners at each others throats. They the neo cons thrive on divisions. When Wal-Mart, and others willing to supply necessary aid like food and water are turned away by FEMA and other government agencies one must ask WHO ARE THE REAL CRIMINALS HERE? The most marginal in a society are often used as test subjects for what is planned for the rest of society. Think about that. Yes the victims of this disaster were mostly poor and black but this does not bode well for all Americans.

Rightly so there is uproar about the government’s handling of the disaster but even that seems to have been planned for. You now have these so called refugees being sent to the four corners of the US already resentful and distrustful of the government (with good reason of course). Maybe refugee is the correct word because it seems they are victims of the war the Bush administration has declared on the people of America. Thinking citizens are appalled by not only the last two banana republic elections we have had but also the third world type response to this most recent natural disaster. Watching the images aired on TV must make even unthinking people realize that the third world is here too. Our government is not about ensuring the maximum protection and care of its citizens. It’s about maximum profits for the likes of Halliburton. Note: they will be handling the rebuilding of New Orleans.

The agenda seems to be about getting everyone angry enough that it’s easy to identify those dissatisfied with our leadership. It’s about inciting people to ‘riot’ out of anger and due frustration for our leaders inadequate response and in some instances outright prevention of adequate response to the crisis. Such riots and violence then give powers that be a perfect excuse to impose martial law as seen in NO. Only now the set up is in place for martial law in those same four corners of the US. We know when groups are angry enough rebellion will occur. See: The American Revolution. Those who rebelled against the authorities were called patriots then. The difference is today there are ways to stop said patriots. Firstly, they are deemed terrorists. Secondly since the 60’s and 70’s mind control and crowd control technologies have existed and has been used. It is no coincidence that American Technologies has already given the powers that be more updated the tools for dealing with “unruly” citizens in the areas hit by Katrina. Mark my words, these technologies will be standard policing equipment if not already, in the four corners of the US that the so called refugees are being sent to.

As I and others have been saying for a long time, there goes the republic only it’s been going, no, gone for a long time now. We the people are just beginning to notice. What is scary is that powers that be have a plan for that too. I would need several books and pages of links to show all the evidence. All I can say is that just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you. See :A teachers guide to the holocaust
