Fake News

All is not well on the homefront when stories like this is in the news. It is a news story about the military thinking about planting fake news stories. What this really means is as always, it’s already been done.

As part of George Bush’s war on terrorism, the military is thinking of
planting propaganda and misleading stories in the international media.

A new department has been set up inside the Pentagon with the Orwellian title of the Office of Strategic Influence.

It is well funded, is being run by a general and its aim is to influence public opinion abroad.

You mean they aren’t already doing this? Come on, it’s nothing new and it’s not just governments. How about all the propaganda from religion? Since there’s been a new pope,a review of ‘news’ relating to the pope in light of St Malachy’s prophecies would be interesting, but I won’t go into it all here. Suffice to say, there is and has always been much propaganda and lies in every sphere. Sorting out what led to our current state as a nation, is like searching for a needle in a haystack, even when there’s plenty of needles in the stack.
Once again America has taken the lead in hiding behind lies and distortions while the evidence is plain for all to see. What’s worse our loud bragging ways makes it hard not to talk about it. What we get instead is stuff like the 911 ‘truth movement’ but that I’ll talk about later.
